I am deeply grateful for this succinct summary. There is too much going on that is worrying to be adequately briefed on everything and this very helpful to fill in the gaps.
Thank you Bryce. Your summaries are highly valued. To comment on only the last, it is incomprehensible that a Minister of Workplace Relations can allow a company contesting our laws to virtually write the text of a rewritten law, removing conditions we would otherwise take for granted here such as holiday and sick pay, and giving the company the right to totally shape the employment contract. Not simply that, but as you have described earlier, to also allow that international company to so arrange service and other fees to reduce to a minimum the profits which remain in NZ which are therefore minimally taxed. Not only does our government sell their citizens short in the wages they receive, the government sells itself short, allowing an international company special privileges and a greatly reduced taxable income. One has to wonder what are the benefits for those in power who are offering these arrangements.

Wow! The inclusion of the opinion pieces at the end really beefs up an already stellar endeavour. Thanks Bryce.
Huge thanks to you Bryce for your incredible work uncovering and explaining the many dodgy practices happening in our country.
Thanks Bryce great stuff.
